Vaal Financial is a financial investment business that helps clients grow their portfolios through strategy and guidance. As a lead gen PPC freelancer, I offered to help Vaal Financial improve their their lead gen strategy by optimizing their funnel, touchpoints, and refining their approach to Google Ads.
I implemented my four step approach to decrease CPLs by 32% and increase MQLs by 112% YoY.

How I helped Vaal Financial achieve its business goals.
Business Sync
During chemistry sessions, I worked very closely with Vaal Financial to understand their core business KPIs including CPL and MQLs and their sales pipeline. I evaluated what had been working and what had not before we onboarded.
Account Audit
After auditing Vaal Financial’s Google Ads account, I discovered new ways to restructure their campaign structure, consolidate where needed, and improve their first-party data implementation to help the Google algorithm learn more effectively.
Additionally, I sent over a recommendation of over 150 negative keywords that would clean up their wasted ad spent that hadn’t converted.
Strategic Planning
Once onboarded, I embarked on a 6-month plan to continue optimizing their keyword strategy, test new ideas, and work on an automated solution to new 1P data.
I also created monthly tests to refine and test new ad copy, images, and video ideas for YouTube engagement.
Execution & Refinement
This strategy lead a to successful 112% increase in MQLs in addition to 32% decreased CPLs YoY. With my new approach to lead gen for PPC, Vaal Financial has been delighted with our strategy and continues to work with me today.
